Flat-Sided Shank Home Embroidery, Sewing & Quilting Machine Needles

Flat-Sided Shank Needles are made for home embroidery machines.  The shank, the portion that fits up inside the machine, is round on one side and flat on the opposite side.  When you insert the needle into your home machine, be sure to position the flat side facing away from you.
